Slow Rise And Fall is a collection of slow rising, falling, and static sonic textures useful for anchoring dramatic tension and release.

Raw recordings of various sounds, from washing machines to cathedral bells, are processed and warped with a technique based on 'Shepard's Tones'. Each resulting texture gives the illusion of perpetual upward or downward motion and is seamlessly loop-able.

Raw sounds recorded with AKG C414B-ULS and Sony ECM 979 mics. Processed in Reaktor.
